US-based IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl has been selected by Dutch automotive company Stellantis to deliver technology services and manage core IT infrastructure services across its operations.

The automotive company expects to leverage Kyndryl Bridge to get high-level control over its IT infrastructure as well as to gain real-time analytics.

Kyndryl Bridge is an open integration platform that provides solutions by utilising Kyndryl’s core technological capabilities.

Headquartered in New York, Kyndryl designs, develops, operates, and modernises complex, mission-critical information systems.

Kyndryl managing partner Angelo Cirocco said: “We are excited to support Stellantis’ transformation. They are charting a course for operational excellence and using Kyndryl’s leading-edge technologies to support them as an industry leader in sustainable solutions.”

The IT services firm will integrate automation to boost efficiencies and deliver global service capabilities that are in line with business priorities.

Besides, the infusion of automation is expected to enhance the quality of day-to-day IT performance to guarantee efficient and seamless operations across all the manufacturing facilities of Stellantis.

To deliver advanced capabilities and tailored solutions that meet the Dutch automotive firm’s requirements, Kyndryl will make use of its talent base including at its India Customer Innovation Center.

The agreement between the parties will cover operations in the US, Italy, Latin America, Poland, France, and India.

In December 2021, Kyndryl announced a global partnership with Google Cloud to expedite the digital transformations of enterprises and enable them to become more advanced, data-driven, and sustainable.

Kyndryl’s managed services for Google Cloud are expected to support customers to have their most critical business systems run on the latter’s global and sustainable infrastructure.
