Fresche Solutions, a Canada-based IT consulting and development company, has announced the acquisition of US-based IT consulting services provider Silveredge Consulting.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Silveredge Consulting specialises in IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) application support, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and homegrown application development and help desk services.
Through the acquisition, Fresche Solutions is expected to address crucial market needs by offering comprehensive application support and development services and modernisation solutions.
Fresche Solutions said that the addition of Silveredge Consulting will help provide a valuable resource for companies looking for guidance and support with their IBM i technology investments.
With more than 35 years of expertise in delivering IT solutions, the US firm is said to have developed strong relationships with customers, employees and the entire IBM i (AS/400) community.

Following the acquisition, Silveredge Consulting will become a business division of Fresche Solutions and continue to operate and conduct business under its current name.
The acquisition is part of the Canada-based company’s long-term strategy to bolster its position as a provider of IT and IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) solutions and a pioneer in application services and IT managed service delivery, stated Fresche Solutions.
