Fujitsu, a Japanese information and communications technology company, has introduced a new artificial intelligence (AI) platform called Fujitsu Kozuchi.

The new AI platform is expected to provide commercial users around the world with access to a range of AI and machine learning (ML) technologies.

According to Fujitsu, the platform will allow customers from various industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and finance, to expedite the testing and implementation of AI technologies for specific business challenges they face. This is enabled by a portfolio of tools and software components based on Fujitsu’s advanced AI technologies.

Fujitsu AutoML solution for automating the generation of machine learning models and Fujitsu AI Ethics for Fairness for examining the fairness of AI models are some of the tools featured on the AI platform.

Other tools include Fujitsu’s AI for causal discovery and Fujitsu Wide Learning for simulating scientific discovery processes along with optimised access to open-source software (OSS) and AI technologies from partner companies.

The company has commenced providing global users with tools including AI innovation components and AI core engines through the new platform.

Fujitsu stated: “The choice of the right combination of AI solutions to resolve unique and often complex problems remains an ongoing challenge for many businesses, however, often hampering successful application of AI technologies in actual operations.

“To address this issue, Fujitsu launched its new AI platform providing leading-edge AI innovation components and AI core engines, easing the path to applying AI in business operations by enabling faster verification of different potential AI solutions by customers.”

The company has also announced plans to add new AI innovation components and AI core engines for areas like smart factories, smart stores, and smart cities, along with finance and healthcare.
