Zoom Video Communications has launched a new offering on its platform called Zoom One that brings together persistent chat, phone, whiteboard, meetings, and other features into secure and scalable packages.

Zoom One provides the option to select six tiered offerings for customers as per their business requirements. These include Zoom One Basic, Zoom One Pro, Zoom One Business, Zoom One Business Plus, Zoom One Enterprise, and Zoom One Enterprise Plus.

Zoom president Greg Tomb said: “Simplicity is at the core of everything we do. As the Zoom platform has evolved from a meeting app to a comprehensive communications platform, it was clear that introducing new packaging like Zoom One was the next step in the company’s evolution.

“By bringing together chat, phone, meetings, whiteboard, and more in a single offering, we are able to offer our customers solutions that are simple to manage, so they can focus on business issues that matter most.”

The video conferencing platform has also introduced a new translated and multi-language captions feature. Through this feature, users can see captions translated into the language of their choice.

Initially, Zoom will offer translations between English and 10 other languages, or from any of the 10 languages to English. The bi-directional translations are available in Chinese (Simplified), English, Dutch, German French, Japanese, Italian, Korean, Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Zoom One Basic offers free 40-minute Zoom Meetings that allow up to 100 attendees. It also comes with persistent Zoom Chat for team messaging, limited Zoom Whiteboard to carry out synchronous and asynchronous work, as well as real-time transcription.

Zoom One Pro has everything offered by Zoom One Basic, while removing time limits in Zoom Meetings and giving users the option for cloud recording.

Zoom One Business is a step ahead of Zoom One Pro by allowing up to 300 attendees in Zoom Meetings, while making Zoom Whiteboards unlimited.

Zoom One Business Plus has everything provided by Zoom One Business along with Zoom Phone Pro with unlimited regional calling and the company’s new translation feature.

Zoom One Enterprise and Zoom One Enterprise Plus are almost the same as Zoom One Business but have larger meeting capacity and more features such as Zoom Webinars. For both offerings, unlimited regional calling is an optional add-on feature.

In April 2022, Zoom launched new innovations and features for its video conferencing platform, which include Zoom IQ for Sales and Zoom Events. The two offerings are designed to help businesses improve the experiences of customers and employees for the new ‘work anywhere’ workforce.
