Since then she has grown up a global brand, has become one of the most influential women in fashion, and she has made appearances on huge shows such as Gossip Girl and Project Runway.

Ariana is the founder of the Huffington Post, which AOL acquired back in 2011. She stepped down last year and now dedicates her time to her newest venture, Thrive Global. Thrive Global is a health and wellness startup. An influential leader who has many inspiring words to share, Ariana is a worthy success story.

J.K. Rowling is the author of the world-renowned Harry Potter series, and she is now a billionaire off the success of the novels. Need we say any more as to why she’s made the most successful women entrepreneurs list?

Cher Wang is the founder and CEO of HTC. She founded the smartphone and virtual reality technology company back in 1997 and it is now a global brand. Sara Blakley is one determined woman. When she came up with the idea for Spanx, she didn’t want to shell out the few thousands of pounds it would cost in legal fees to patent her idea. Instead she wrote her own patent using a textbook she bought from department store Barnes & Noble. Spanx is now a global brand and Blakely is one of the most successful women in the world right now.
7. Beyoncé
Most of us know Beyoncé’s career journey, right? She was famously part of Destiny’s Child, and the band was managed by her father Mathew Knowles. She then went solo, which was a huge success. Understatement! Beyoncé is now one of the best-selling artists of all time, having sold over 100 million records throughout her career. Woah.
