Typeface, an enterprise-grade generative artificial intelligence (AI) application to power customised content, has emerged from stealth with a funding of $65m.

The financing round saw the participation of Lightspeed Venture Partners, Google Ventures (GV), Microsoft’s venture fund M12, and Menlo Ventures.

Typeface is led by Abhay Parasnis, the former chief technology officer of Adobe, and a team of AI, software as a service (or SaaS), and media technologists.

Lightspeed Venture Partners partner Ravi Mhatre said: “Typeface is at the forefront of a monumental shift in how businesses will create and collaborate.

“With a world-class team and category-defining vision, Typeface is the first company to address the significant need for a comprehensive platform that radically personalises generative AI for the enterprise.

“By democratising access to this technology, companies can supercharge iterative creation and meaningfully engage with customers unlike ever before.”

The new products offered by Typeface are claimed to deliver complete lifecycle content development with self-serve solutions to generate with speed, ease, and brand authenticity across all departments, including marketing, customer support, advertising, sales, HR, and others.

The generative AI firm is presently engaging with enterprises and digital-native brands to quickly develop and adapt content to their enterprise workflows.

Typeface is said to offer self-serve workflows and templates that integrate with existing processes and use natural language for ease of use.

The templates provided include creative briefs, blog posts, social media advertisements, landing pages, job posts, and others.

According to the firm, its Affinity AI solution self-learns and personalises creations to each enterprises’ voice and audiences across all digital mediums and use cases, including cross-team collaboration, quick ideation, and customised product campaigns.
