Indian IT services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has rolled out a curated version of its Cloud Assurance Platform services for businesses that are planning to migrate to the cloud or upgrade with Microsoft Azure.

The Cloud Assurance platform automates application and infrastructure testing for better customer experience.

TCS stated that the enhanced platform will help address complex cloud modernisation programmes that carry risks such as infrastructure configuration, application integration issues and performance bottlenecks.

TCS Microsoft Business Unit global head Siva Ganesan said: “Enterprises require a comprehensive assurance ecosystem in place to manage risks while ensuring the business goals of the modernisation are met.

“The purpose-driven focus of TCS’ Cloud Assurance Platform services curated for Microsoft Cloud helps assure certainty across an organisation’s cloud journey.”

TCS claims that automated Azure test suite enables 100% test coverage and is known to deliver over 70% improvement in speed to market.

TCS said that its Quality Engineering and Transformation (QET) Platform services add its Machine First and factory-based approach to quality for fast assurance processes across both infrastructure and applications for Microsoft Azure.

The assembly line approach includes a step-by-step migration of each application to Azure, with assurance services performed at each step, ensuring no further rollback is needed.

The Indian tech firm stated that its Cloud Assurance Platform, through its intelligent strategy recommendation engine and advanced automation ecosystem, services solve major bottlenecks.

TCS Quality Engineering & Transformation Unit global head Karamsetty Prabhakar said: “The success of modernisation programmes is heavily dependent on designing and implementing a robust quality architecture which can assure business objectives.

“Our offering equips customers with an on-demand automated assurance ecosystem to ensure quality, resilience, flexibility and agility.”
