LootMogul, a multiverse blockchain gaming platform designed for sports influencers and fans to engage, has secured an undisclosed investment from Harmony (ONE), an open blockchain for decentralised applications.

According to LootMogul, sports influencers from NFL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, ICC, NHL, Olympics, college, high-school, and others lead the fan engagement model in its metaverse.

The engagement is via gaming, creating sports arenas/lands, experiences with star celebrities, and earning non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and cryptos.

LootMogul founder and CEO Raj Rajkotia said: “At LootMogul, we are continuing to offer robust solutions to our sports community through scalable blockchain and strategic partnership. Partnership with Harmony allows us to build a scalable product for our entire sports & crypto community.”

Harmony (ONE) is an open platform for assets, identity, collectibles, and governance. It is aimed to serve as a bridge between scalability and decentralisation efforts.

Danny Carranza from Harmony.one said: “As the Harmony ecosystem grows exponentially, we are always on the lookout for exciting projects that showcase promise.

“With this investment, we are excited to see what the LootMogul team can build for the sports and crypto community. LootMogul has a unique product positioning in the sports metaverse with star athletes and real-world premier sports & entertainment industry benefits.

“This investment is a part of our $300M ecosystem fund, which offers grants and investments to projects that share our vision to build a blue metaverse — the Harmony metaverse.”

Harmony (ONE) was established as part of the initial exchange offering (IEO) of Binance Launchpad in 2019. The open blockchain’s secure bridges are said to provide cross-chain asset transfers with Ethereum, Binance, and other chains.
