Bechtle, a Germany-based technology company, has announced its acquisition of ACS Systems UK with an aim to strengthen its foothold in the British market.

The financial terms and conditions of the deal have not been disclosed.

Based in Northampton, ACS Systems is claimed to focus on cybersecurity, managed IT and cloud services, and modern work concepts to deliver clients its own cloud hosting capacities.

Through the acquisition, Bechtle aims to expand its portfolio and set up a joint managed services platform for supporting customers.

Established in 1995, ACS Systems is said to have generated €31m in the last financial year.

The cyber security solutions and data centre technology firm has 93 people working out of Northampton.

Following the acquisition, ACS Systems’ executive management team will continue in their existing roles.
