Quantum-safe encryption provider Arqit Quantum has announced a partnership with Dell Technologies to provide quantum-safe solutions to its clients.
Arqit Quantum and Dell have forged a Dell OEM-engineered solutions pilot agreement to deploy the former’s QuantumCloud software on certain Dell hardware devices.
The agreement will allow Dell sales teams to sell the combined hardware and software as a single SKU to meet the demands of both existing and new customers.
As part of the collaboration, Arqit Quantum sales teams will be able to provide Dell hardware and services while Dell sales teams will be able to deliver Arqit QuantumCloud software in their sales portfolios.
Through the partnership, Arqit Quantum intends to pursue the US Federal Government, including the Department of Defense (DoD), the Federal Civilian Agencies and the Intelligence Community as its initial market.
Arqit Quantum founder, chairman and CEO David Williams said: “We are honoured to work with Dell, the leader in providing intrinsically secure infrastructure and devices, comprehensive threat detection and response, data protection and cyber recovery to government customers.
“America’s service men and women need to be assured of the benefits of stronger, simpler encryption to protect them against threats now and in future. By partnering with the very best innovator in the industry we have a great opportunity to do that in a comprehensive way.”
QuantumCloud is a symmetric key agreement software that addresses the challenges of public key infrastructure (PKI) and the quantum computing threat.
It is the only product with independently verified security proof confirming that its cloud-fulfilled symmetric encryption keys are zero trust and quantum-safe, stated Arqit Quantum.
