Accenture said that it has helped Indian pharma company Lupin in its data-powered transformation journey to improve its business agility, performance, and operational efficiency.
As part of the partnership between the two firms, Accenture deployed a SAP S/4HANA-based digital platform for the pharma company.
The platform is said to provide real-time visibility to decision makers into integrated data from various sources such as supply chain, sales networks, and people. The sources of Lupin’s data are spread over more than 100 countries and 15 manufacturing and research facilities in India, the US, Mexico, and Brazil.
By consolidating the view of global business operations and performance, the pharma company is able to take informed decisions, said Accenture.

Lupin also used SAP Fiori apps to improve the user experience for its employees with data models and analytical reports that are said to be simple and easy to access.

Last month, Lupin deployed the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform for running its SAP S/4HANA mission-critical environment to drive its digital transformation.
