Oracle has launched a new update to its Employee Care Package to help businesses prioritise safety in the post-pandemic workplace.

Launched in June 2020, Employee Care Package is designed to help human resources (HR) teams to meet new workforce demands after the outbreak of the pandemic.

The latest updates enable HR teams to gain new Covid-19 testing and vaccine tracking capabilities as well as provide employees with automated guidance as they return to the workplace.

Employee Care Package is part of Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) solution that supports HR processes from hiring to retiring.

The new updates, which are included in Return to the Workplace Journey, allow HR teams to analyse critical workforce data such as testing and vaccination records.

Return to the Workplace Journey is also designed to guide employees through new processes, training, and safety protocols to ease the process of returning to in-office routines.

Oracle Cloud HCM development senior vice president Chris Leone said: “The Covid-19 pandemic has forced organizations to prioritize the health and safety of employees and this has put HR leaders front and centre as they help their teams adjust to change and address new challenges.

“As the future of work continues to evolve, it’s critical that organizations are able to make informed business decisions in real-time to protect their teams.

“Our Return to the Workplace Journey will help our customers meet this challenge and is designed to help organizations ensure the health and safety of their workers.”

The updated Employee Care Package allows employees to share new digital passports or electronic vaccination credentials as part of new safety procedures.

By using Oracle Fusion HCM Analytics, HR teams will also gain key insights into workforce safety by analysing the data captured by Return to the Workplace Journey, the tech firm said.

The insights will provide information on the number of employees who have been tested or vaccinated and their distribution across multiple offices. For global companies, the insights give details on how different regions are progressing.

The other features of the Employee Care Package facilitate regular wellness checks for employees and contractors through quick and customisable pulse surveys.
