Amazon has announced the US launch of Veeqo, a multi-channel shipping software designed with an objective to streamline fast-growth e-commerce.

Veeqo, which is based in the UK, was acquired by the e-commerce retailer in March 2022. The former, which was founded in 2013, is said to enable sellers in reducing costs of shipping, while improving the speed of fulfilling customer orders.

The vendors using Veeqo can link their sales channels, including Amazon, Etsy, eBay, and Shopify, and get discounted rates on UPS, DHL, US Postal Service, and FedEx, claimed Amazon.

The rate-shopping feature of the e-commerce start-up imports orders from sellers and is said to automatically determine the least available shipping rate based on the size as well as weight.

Veeqo is now accessible to all sellers free of cost whereas it was previously priced at an average cost of $450 per month. The vendors who ship via the platform pay only for their selected carrier labels, with no additional monthly fees, said Amazon.

Veeqo CEO Matt Warren said: “As a seller, I found that shipping orders and managing inventory across channels was time-consuming and error prone. The available shipping management software was complicated, lacked the right features, or was designed for an enterprise-sized retailer.

“I created a system built with the needs of all multi-channel sellers in mind. Sellers should be able to track, price, sell, and ship orders across multiple channels in just a few clicks, and with Veeqo they can.”

With the launch of Veeqo in the US, sellers will be able to ship bulk batches of up to 100 orders with the lowest rates that are selected automatically.

Furthermore, the shipping software will send tracking emails automatically to customers as orders are fulfilled.

Amazon also announced that the multi-channel shipping software intends to soon offer new business features for free. These include inventory sync, track and purchase inventory, digital picking, and reporting and forecasting.
